WASHINGTON ROCK STATE PARK CLOSEDFOR JULY 4th WEEKEND
BRIDGEWATER, NJ – The Somerset County Park Commission has announced that Washington Rock State Park, on Washington Rock Road in Green Brook,
New Jersey, will be closed until Monday, July 6, 2020 at 8:00 A.M.

The state park is managed by the Somerset County Park Commission and is normally a popular viewing spot for July 4th. fireworks displays.
Due to the absence of community fireworks celebrating Independence Day and Governor Murphy’s Executive Orders limiting crowd size and recommending
social distancing to protect the public during the COVID-19 pandemic, the determination was made to close the park for the weekend.

The closure will be enforced by local and County authorities.
