Volunteers Sought at Senior Centers

Give a Few Hours of Time and Make an Impact Forever

Somerset County-operated senior centers are seeking volunteers at the three following locations:

Montgomery Senior Center located in the Otto Kaufman Community Center, at 356 Skillman Road, is seeking food service volunteers to distribute meals, serve lunch and clean up afterward, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Quail Brook Senior Center, located at 625 New Brunswick Road, in Franklin Township, is seeking volunteers for the following positions:

• Food service volunteers are needed to distribute meals for the Meals on Wheels program, from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays.
• Computer instructors are needed on any day of the week from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• A receptionist is needed from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Warrenbrook Senior Center, located at 500 Warrenville Road, is seeking food service volunteers for its Meals on Wheels program, Wednesdays, from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

Somerset County senior centers offer a wide range of experiences for active older adults in a social and uplifting atmosphere intended to positively impact the overall health of seniors. Members can participate in a variety of programs and activities.
