PSE&G Work Info
PSE&G is continuing to upgrade the electric system in Township neighborhoods to continue to provide safe, reliable service. Construction crews will soon begin actively working on the PSE&G and public rights of way in Green Brook Township.
PSE&G anticipates beginning underground construction activities on Lenox Avenue, Warrenville Road, and Wickett Avenue.
Work is expected to be completed in 4-5 weeks, and work hours will be between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday. All work and schedules are weather dependent and subject to change.
Lane shifts and detours may be required during construction and will be coordinated with local police and traffic control. Temporary paving and restoration will occur at the completion of work each evening, and final paving and restoration will be completed Spring 2018, depending on weather.
We do not anticipate this work causing any interruption of your electric service.
Safety is our highest priority. PSE&G is working with the Green Brook Police Department to minimize any traffic concerns or inconvenience to the public. It is essential that you and anyone using your property, including children and pets, refrain from going near our construction work zones. For construction activities in and on the public right of way, local authorities will provide traffic control to keep both our work crews and the traveling public safe.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding as we improve electric service reliability for your neighborhood and the region.
