Branch Pickup
This autumn, branch pickup will follow a similar pattern to leaf collection using the ZONES set forth below.
- Tree limbs up to 6” in diameter should be left whole.
- Small branches should be bundled with brush.
- Please put sticker bushes in a separate pile.
- Do not mix leaves in with the branches and brush.
- Please keep debris away from fire hydrants.
- Place branches at the curbside, not in the gutter.
- This program is for the maintenance of landscaped residential property only, NOT FOR CLEARING OF WOODED LOTS. The DPW has been instructed to spend no more than 15-20 minutes per household. If your branches were not collected, a tag will be left for the homeowner with the reason. If leaves/grass/debris is mixed in, the branches and/or brush will not be collected and the homeowner will be responsible for disposal.
- You are to put your branches and brush out at the curb the weekend before collection begins. If branches are placed at curbside after the collection date they will not be collected.

Leaf Pickup
- Residents are reminded to rake the leaves to the grass side of the curb.
- DO NOT place the leaves in the gutter. If there are no curbs, rake the leaves to the end of the grass.
- DO NOT include any branches, grass clippings, cans, bottles, or debris in the leaf piles. Foreign materials can cause damage to the equipment and injury to personnel. Leaves with twigs, branches, or other debris will not be collected and the homeowner will be responsible for disposal.
- DO NOT place leaves within 10’ of any storm drain or fire hydrant.
- DO NOT park vehicles over leaf piles. This not only makes it impossible to pick up the leaves, it is a significant fire hazard.
- DO NOT place leaves in bags or boxes.
- DO NOT place leaves curbside until one week before scheduled pickup. Leaves put out on or after your second collection date will not be collected. If leaves are not collected, a tag will be left for the homeowner with the reason.
