Roadwork Expected - Lenox, Warrenville, Wickett, Mountain Pkwy

On September 14th, Green Brook Township received notification that a utility improvement project that will impact your neighborhood will begin on Monday, September 18th.  The project will be undertaken by a contractor working for PSE&G, and involves installing underground electrical conduit, and is anticipated to be completed within six weeks.   The conduit will run under Lenox Avenue, Warrenville Road, Wickett Avenue and the northern portion of Mountain Parkway (up to Route 22).

There may be occasions of more than one crew working in the area.  Police Officers will route travelers around the work areas, without the complete closure of the roadways.  The only exception is that Wickett Avenue will be closed to traffic except for residents, as will northern Mountain Parkway (from Wickett to Route 22). Arrangements for school bus access has been arranged with the school district.  The work period will generally run from 7:30 to 4:00, with the exception of work on Warrenville Road, which will be from 9:00 to 4:00 daily.

It is anticipated that there will be one day of disruption on Warrenville Road during the week of Sept 25-29, and 4 additional days of work on Warrenville Road during the first week of October.

The Police Department will utilize the Nixle alert system to advise residents of each day’s work area.  You may sign up for free alerts at www.nixle.com.
