Free Tree Giveaway - May 30th, 9am-12pm

FREE TREE GIVEAWAY - MAY 30th, 9AM-12PM

Free tree seedlings will be available to Green Brook residents on as part of the New Jersey Forest Service’s New Jersey Tree Recovery Campaign, from 9 am to noon at Town Hall, 111 Greenbrook Road. First come, first served. Trees come with instructions on how to store, care for, and plant the trees. Should be planted within two days after pick-up in order to prevent the roots from drying out.

Residents can get up to five (5) trees while supplies last.  Choices include:

White Oak            Red Bud        Black Walnut

1. Contact-less pick-up.  Keep windows closed. Stay in car.
2. Enter Town Hall parking lot from the driveway near Police Building.
3. Hold up a sign indicating how many trees and what type – example:

1. Pop your trunk - trees and instructions will be loaded in your car.
