PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq., and in consideration of Executive Orders issued by Governor Murphy pertaining to the COVID19 Coronavirus and the State of Emergency and Public Health Emergency pertaining thereto, the Township of Green Brook does hereby notify the public that to protect the health, safety and welfare of our citizens while ensuring the continued functioning of government, the meetings of the Township Committee of the Township of Green Brook will be conducted according to the schedule set forth above virtually until further notice. The public will be able to participate and provide comment during the meeting similar to any other open public meeting of the Township Committee.

In advance of the remote public meeting, members of the public may also submit written comments to the Township Administrator/Clerk via email  at kcupit@greenbrooktwp.org subject line “Public Comment Green Brook Township Committee Meeting” or by placing a written letter addressed as set forth above in the drop box located at the front of the Green Brook Municipal Building.  All written public comments must be received by 4:00 p.m. on the date of the scheduled Township Committee Meeting.  Written public comments submitted before the remote public meeting will be read aloud and addressed during the remote public meeting in a manner audible to all meeting participants and the public and made part of the meeting record.  Duplicative written comments may be summarized and made part of the meeting record.

The Township Committee reserves the right to place reasonable time limits on public comments taking into consideration time, circumstances and the number of public participants wishing to comment. Members of the public providing comments, whether written or oral, must provide their name and address. In addition, if a member of the public becomes disruptive during a remote public meeting, including during any period for public comment, the Mayor may mute or continue muting, or direct appropriate staff to mute or continue muting, the disruptive member of the public and warn that continued disruption may result in their being prevented from speaking during the remote public meeting or removed from the remote public meeting. Disruptive conduct includes sustained inappropriate behaviors such as, but not necessarily limited to, shouting, interruption, and use of profanity; (8) a member of the public who continues to act in a disruptive manner after receiving an initial warning may be muted while other members of the public are allowed to proceed with their questions or comments. If time permits, the disruptive individual shall be allowed to speak after all other members of the public have been given the opportunity to make comment. Should the person remain disruptive, the individual may be muted or kept on mute for the remainder of the remote public meeting, or removed from the remote public meeting; and (9) the agenda and documents pertaining the remote public meeting will be available on the Township website.                                                                                            

A notice of this meeting was sent to the designated newspapers on January 10, 2022.  In addition, a copy of this notice will be placed on the Bulletin Board in Town Hall.

Proper notice having been given; the Township Clerk will include this statement in the minutes of this meeting.

2022 Green Brook Township Land Use Board Meeting Notice

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 13 of Chapter 231, Public Law 1975, that the following has officially been adopted by the Land Use Board of the Township of Green Brook, in the County of Somerset, New Jersey as its schedule of regularly scheduled meetings for the Calendar Year 2022.

All such meetings will be held virtually until further notice, with the virtual meeting information listed below.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in compliance with the provisions of the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act, the General Ordinances of the Township of Green Brook and Executive Orders signed by Governor Murphy and in an effort to follow best practices recommended by the United States Center for Disease Control (CDC), the Land Use Board of the Township of Green Brook, County of Somerset, State of New Jersey, will hold public meetings virtually.

Due to the Covid-19 public health emergency, these public meetings will be conducted electronically and/or by telephone using the ZOOM application. Members of the public who wish to participate in the meeting may do so telephonically or by computer:

Individuals calling in or connecting via streaming video will be able to fully participate in the meeting, including public comment. In addition, public viewing and participation will be available and a link to the meeting will be posted on the Township website: www.greenbrooktwp.org.

Agendas, files, plans and maps relating to any applications scheduled for hearing will be posted on the Township website 10 days prior to the meeting. Alternatively, these documents are available for inspection by appointment at the Township of Green Brook Municipal Building (111 Greenbrook Road, Green Brook, New Jersey) by contacting Erin LaGrua at elagrua@greenbrooktwp.org.
